Voice

Supe Voice lets you create, message, monitor, and reopen durable OpenCode tasks through a realtime conversation.

Use your provider

Section titled “Use your provider”
  1. Open Settings → Voice.
  2. Choose OpenAI or xAI.
  3. Add your provider API key.
  4. Select the supported realtime model, voice, speaking style, and idle timeout.
  5. Start Voice from Supe.

BYOK Voice is included in the free application. Provider usage follows the provider account, billing, and terms attached to your API key. OpenCode coding tasks continue to use the model and provider selected for Chat.

Hosted trial

Section titled “Hosted trial”

An installation without a configured Voice provider may be eligible for an optional hosted trial. The app asks for consent before checking eligibility or starting the hosted connection. The current trial is limited to five connected minutes across at most two sessions and is subject to availability.

When the trial ends, configure your own OpenAI or xAI key to continue. A Remote Superpower purchase is not required.

Boundaries

Section titled “Boundaries”
  • Voice can hand work to OpenCode, but it cannot approve permissions for you.
  • Provider credentials stay in the operating system’s secure credential store.
  • Hosted-trial audio is relayed transiently to the configured hosted provider and is not stored by OpenCode Superapp.
  • Ending Voice does not delete the durable OpenCode tasks it created.
