Computer Use
Computer Use lets a dedicated operator work with native Mac applications. It is designed around explicit permissions, a visible supervision pane, and separation from the primary chat agent.
Requirements
Section titled “Requirements”- macOS 15 or newer;
- an active Superpowers license;
- Screen Recording, Accessibility, and Event Synthesizing permission for the OpenCode Computer Use helper;
- a configured operator model.
Two control lanes
Section titled “Two control lanes”Background-safe actions target a specific application without moving the physical pointer or bringing the Superapp to the front. Take Control actions require explicit approval when an interaction may affect the active desktop more directly.
The primary agent delegates native-app work to a dedicated Computer Use operator. Raw Computer Use tools are not exposed to the primary agent.
Supervise a task
Section titled “Supervise a task”- Open Computer Use in the right panel.
- Confirm the selected target application.
- Review the live target preview and sanitized activity captions.
- Approve or deny requested control when prompted.
- Pause or close the pane to stop the preview stream.
The preview excludes OpenCode Superapp itself. Typed text is not repeated in the activity caption, and the virtual cursor is separate from your physical pointer.
See macOS permissions when setup is incomplete.
