Release notes
OpenCode Superapp is currently in early release. Published release notes appear in Settings → Updates when an update is available and will be mirrored here as stable customer builds ship.
- Browser Automation, Computer Use, local Dictation, and Voice with your own provider key are now included free.
- Remote is the only paid Superpower and remains a one-time $49 purchase for up to five desktop installations.
- Browser Automation uses a per-launch authenticated loopback connection between the app and its local automation bridge.
- The application, checkout, legal pages, marketing site, and documentation now consistently describe Remote-only pricing.
Documentation compatibility
Section titled “Documentation compatibility”This portal describes the latest supported customer build unless a page says otherwise. Feature pages call out platform-specific requirements such as macOS 15 for Computer Use and the Ubuntu accessibility/portal services.
Patch releases normally update these pages in place. Separate archived documentation will be introduced only when multiple materially different app versions remain supported at the same time.
Before updating
Section titled “Before updating”- Review the release notes in Settings.
- Finish active tasks and terminals.
- Keep a normal backup of important projects.
- Use the in-app signed update flow.
