Browser

Browser is a native child webview placed in the right panel. It is separate from Chrome or Safari and follows the active panel’s size and visibility.

Open and navigate

1. Open Browser in the right panel.
2. Enter a supported web address.
3. Navigate using the browser controls.
4. Keep the pane visible when you want to supervise a web task.

Agent browser tools connect to this same visible surface. Starting a supported browser session can open the pane automatically.

Boundaries

• Browser uses its own webview profile and cookies.
• It does not inherit your Chrome tabs, extensions, or signed-in Chrome state.
• The native host enforces URL and window policies.
• Agent web tools remain distinct from native Computer Use.

Use Browser for web pages. Use Computer Use only when a task genuinely needs another native Mac application.
