Compact Chat

Compact Chat is a prewarmed utility window for quickly viewing or continuing work across projects. It reuses the same OpenCode runtime and core chat components as the main workspace.

Open Compact Chat

Use the configured global shortcut or the app’s Compact Chat action. Select a project and session, then compose normally.

What stays synchronized

Section titled “What stays synchronized”
  • sent messages and task state come from OpenCode;
  • unsent drafts synchronize between trusted Superapp windows;
  • permission dialogs are claimed by one window at a time;
  • handing off to the main window preserves the selected project and session.

Compact Chat does not create a second backend or duplicate a session. Closing the utility window does not end tasks running in OpenCode.
