Local-first design
OpenCode Superapp is designed to work without a product account. Your local projects and the OpenCode runtime stay on your Mac.
Data ownership
Section titled “Data ownership”| Information | Owner and location |
|---|---|
| Projects and saved files | Your local filesystem |
| Sessions, messages, tools, and OpenCode configuration | Bundled OpenCode runtime and its local storage |
| Provider credentials | OpenCode’s credential storage |
| Superpowers license and Remote secrets | macOS Keychain |
| Unsent composer drafts and UI preferences | Local app storage |
| Privacy-safe diagnostic history | App data on this Mac |
Provider traffic
Section titled “Provider traffic”Model requests go to the provider you select through OpenCode. The provider’s terms and data handling apply to those requests. OpenCode Superapp does not proxy model traffic through a MedHue account.
Diagnostics
Section titled “Diagnostics”The app has no diagnostic upload or behavioral analytics service. Local diagnostics exclude prompts, file contents, terminal output, project paths, and credentials. You choose whether to export a sanitized report for support.
Remote
Section titled “Remote”Remote uses an external relay for routing, but message payloads are end-to-end encrypted between the paired companion and desktop host. See Remote for the operating boundary.
